toshyKAa
Well i need some bios settings for GA-M56S-S3 to run this ram on 800mhz or higher if it is possbile, while the motherboard supports only 800mhz.If it cant be higher than 800, then i need bios settings with best timings to run on 800mhz the ram is TWIN2X2048-8500C5D v 4.1 2.10V
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 21, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 21, 2008 You would have to over clock the CPU to run faster than DDR800 or be running a Phenom CPU. And you can get the tested settings for the modules from the link in my signature.
toshyKAa
well in you signature there are settings only for 1066mhz i need for 800mhz
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 21, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 21, 2008 The rated timings are all we can promise, but you can try them at Cas 4-4-4-12 at 2t C/R at 2.1 Volts and if you have more than two modules set the NB/MCH/SPP Voltage to +.2 Volts over default and you may have to set them at DDR667 when running 4 up. toshyKAa
there is no option to put my ram on 2.10V.It has stuck on 1.80 and wont change even if i add 0.3V... On that MB i cant even set the timings...
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 21, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 21, 2008 The ASUS Rampage Formula will allow the memory Voltage to be set, I would suggest contacting the MB maker Tech support to help you with their BIOS. Wired
Also, you have listed different memory in your profile, which you asked about in this thread. Also, do you have more than one account here?
toshyKAa
no, i have only one account but two different problems... one of them is already gone as u guys helped me... The second problem is with my second computer that is not the one you see in my profile! The problem is with; TWIN2X2048-8500C5D v 4.1 2.10V & Gigabyte GA-M56S-S3 i try to change my voltage from 1.80 to 2.10 but there is no way to do that, in cpu-z i have readings that ram is running on 376mhz as long motherboard supports ddr2-800mhz... So anyone know something to make this ram run on 800mhz ?
DerekT
Download Memtest86+ V2.01 from--->Here Download CPU-z from Here . Restart your system and Enter your BIOS. On the main BIOS screen press Ctrl + F1. You will see the screen flicker. Next select the MB Intelligent Tweaker option. On that screen you will see many additional settings that were not there before and now you can change your DRAM settings. MB Intelligent Tweaker (M.I.T) CPU Frequency = 200 PCIE Clock = 100Mhz CPU Clock Ratio = Auto Robust Graphics Booster = Auto Chipset Voltage control = +0.025v DDR2 Voltage Control = +.3v CPU Voltage Control = Normal Memory Timings tCL (CAS Latency) = 5 tRCD = 5 tRP = 5 tRAS = 15 Command Per Clock (CMD = 2 tRRD = Auto AsyncLatency = Auto tRC = Auto tWR = Auto tRWT = Auto tWTR = Auto tREF = Auto Boot to the Memtest CD and allow for two full passes. If you pass, enter Windows and post screenshots of your CPU-z CPU/Memory and SPD tabs.
