ADMuir
I have a problem with one of the 4 memory sticks in my system. I have isolated it to one memory. The memory fails using BurnIn Test within 5 minutes of starting. This is running at standard clock rates. How do I get a replacement part? Thanks ADMuir
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 21, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 21, 2008 You will want to make sure that you have the memory voltage manually set to 2.1 volts even if the other memory settings are left at default values. I would also suggest using http://www.memtest.org and testing the modules one at a time in the slot closest to the CPU. If a single module gives you errors in memtest and the others pass, then lets get the failing module along with its matched pair replaced. You can use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
ADMuir
I downloaded and used the memtest86 and one of the modules had a large number of failures. The other memory of the pair did not fail.
