bil007
I've purchased two new TX750W and both have failed to provide any power to my motherboard. Please note that the system runs well with a three year old Ultra 500W! I built this system in an ANTEC 1200 Tower - which requires the power supply to be placed at the case bottom. Therefore, I have it upside down to allow the fan more open space. I can't believe that I've purchased two bad TX750s from two different vendors (within two weeks)?! Could the upside down positrion of the power supply be a problem? I'm searching for an answer before I send this last one back to Newegg. Any help is appreciated. bil007
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 21, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 21, 2008 Mounting them upside down should not be a problem, do you have another MB you can test them with?
bil007
Ram Guy, Thanks for answering. My question was one of desperation. After calming, I went over each step of my build. I discovered that the brand new floppy was shorting out the system. Removing the drive solved the problem. Much Thanks!!
