KaptenPD
I just bought a Corsair 1000hxeu psu for my new computer that I am putting together. Upon turning on the power to the system I noticed that the fan was not spinning. I know that the psu has a thermally controlled fan. Could the fan be controlled to be off at low temperatures or is it broken? I dont think this is normal but I like to know before proceeding with a return. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 13, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 13, 2008 The fan will spin very slowly at times, however it should always be spinning. Let's get it replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
