Karen.333
Hi, guys. I'm trying to overclock my RAM now. And i have stable memtest with 1000MHz 5-5-5-15 @ 1.95V but when i set RAM to 1066MHz 5-5-5-15 @ 2.1V i saw a lot of errors in memtest, why? FSB:RAM = 1:1 Maybe i should do something with subtimings? My are the same as: https://home.comcast.net/~captain-is-retired/biostar/bios-11.jpg https://home.comcast.net/~captain-is-retired/biostar/bios-12.jpg My NB was set to 1.36V. And what is overclock limit of this modules? Should i stay at this voltages or i should try to slightly increse frequency with the cost of higher voltage? What you can advise me? Thank you! DerekT
Download Memtest86+ V2.01 from--->HereEnter your BIOS and Set: tCL = 5 tRP = 5 tRD = 5 tRAS = 15 Set DRAM Voltage to 2.1v. That DRAM needs 2.1v. Set command rate to 2T/2N. Set all else to Auto. Insert a single stick in Slot 1 (the slot closest to the CPU). Set the DRAM Speed to 1066 and boot to the Memtest CD. Allow for two full passes. Remove the stick and insert the second one in its place. Repeat the test. Finally, insert a stick in Slot 1 and Slot 3 and retest. Results of each test?
