psykanarky
I built a new PC for a friend of mine and bought him a 4gb twin kit same model number as the thread title. Put both sticks into dimm 1 and 3, and all i got was a long beep. tried dimm 2 and 4, same thing tried 1 stick in dimm 1, 2, 3 and 4 still a long beep and nothing else. tried the other stick in dimm 1 instantly booted and posted correctly. tried another stick of ram i had running with the stick that booted and it booted fine. so my conclusion is a bad stick. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 13, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 13, 2008 I would set the memory voltage to 2.1 volts with the working module, and retest the questionable module. If you still have the same problems, then we will want to replace the pair for you. You can use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
