mofo88
Hello everyone, I'm running a 750TX in my new system and everything is good so far, I've just noticed it puts off more heat than my 620w supply. Is that normal? It's not like burning to the touch or anything. But even at idle it's not pushing cool air like the 620 did. In gaming it just puts off more hot air, but doesn't burn or anything. Is that normal? My case is very well ventilated. Thank you, Fo
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 6, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 6, 2008 Are you comparing the HX620 and TX750 by running them in the same systems, or is this in two different systems?

FEAR6655
The TX750 is running a higher powered system, and it isn't unreasonable that a more powerful PSU may produce slightly more heat.

Agreed, based on the 2 listed system profiles, the system with the TX-750 will draw much more power and would cause the PSU to put out more heat.
