domg472
Memtester completes the tests OK with default optimized settings. Dram works at 800 MHz frequency. I would like to use 1066 MHz frequency and i tried with these settings: tCL=5 tRCD=5 tRP=5 tRAS=15 tRRD=Auto tRC=24 tWR=Auto tWTR=Auto tREF=Auto cmd=2T Dram Voltage 2.10V Dram Frequency 1066 But with these settings Memtester reports failures. Does anyone have any suggestions, clues? Any help will be much appreciated. BIOS: Vendor: American Megatrends Inc. Version: V1.4 BIOS Revision: 8.
DerekT
Download Memtest86+ Version 2.01 from--->Hereand extract the ISO image. Burn the ISO image to an CD-ROM disk. Enter your BIOS. Load Setup defaults, save setup defaults, then enter these values: Cell Menu DOT Control = Disabled Intel EIST = Disabled System Clock Mode = Manual FSB Clock (Mhz) = 266 Memory Clock (MHz) = 1066 Adjust CPU Ratio = Auto Advance DRAM Configuration Memory Timings = Manual CAS Latency = 5 tRCD = 5 tRP = 5 tRAS = 15 tRRD = Auto tRC = Auto tWR = Auto tWTR = Auto tREF = Auto 1T/2T Memory Timing = 2T Adjust PCI-e Frequency = 100 CPU Voltage = Auto Memory Voltage = 2.1v VTT FSB Voltage = Auto NB Voltage = 1.5v Shut down the system. Insert a single stick in Slot One (Closest to the CPU) and run the above Memtest86+ Version 2.01. If it passes for two full passes, then remove the stick and insert it in the third slot and retest. Then remove the stick, insert the second one in the first slot and retest. Then insert one stick in Slot One and Slot Three and retest. Finally, insert them in Slot Two and Slot Four and retest.
