JonZeigler
Hi all! My first post on this site. Cool site. I have a M2N32-SLI Deluxe MOBO. I purchased it 8/17 and I still have gotten it to POST. I originally purchased AMDAthlon X2 3.2 GHz Dual Core 6400. After send MOBO 4 BIOS flash (still nothing), purchased AMD Athlon X2 3.0GHz Dual Core 6000. - still nothing. Cll bk 2 Asus, tech insist MOBO ok, suggest PSU. I am RMA psu (don't have manual-wonder if I will be penalized). Whn I turn on system, everything on 4 bout 2-4 seconds. I was able to fast start 3.2 GHz 6400, but then would freeze. Furthest ever got, display asking press tab or delete. Has anyone else had this problem. Also purchasing replacemnt board M3N-72 D (M2N32-SLI REPLACMENT). It seems I'm not the only person who has had problems with this board. It seems though, once you get it going its a beautiful thing. :-(
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 29, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 29, 2008 Are you able to get into the BIOS at all? I would reset the CMOS on the board and then test the memory modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org, to see if you can rule out a memory related issue. I've tried everything I would try the PSU Functionality test here and see if the PSU is turning itself off. If you have the same problems with the new motherboard, then we can try replacing the PSU for you. Please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
JonZeigler
Rec new board (M3N72-D) yesterday - Thank you Newegg (shipped direct from NJ next day). Haven't placed in case yet. Cleaned cpu & hs thn installed, Install mem, 8800 gt video, plugged in same psu. At first, same thing - on for 3-5 second thn off. Push button 2-3 times - ITS ALIVE:sunglasse . Plugged in video; I get a text message of some sort (havent need it yet), thn splash screen "Press tab or delete...". Go into BIOS. ***Keep running*** Turned off a few times - push button once or twice, comes right back to life. I notice like a power surge on initial start, but then everything stablizes. Any comments? Im awaiting delivery for 2nd psu to test M2N-SLI DELUXE (thnks Newegg again). If it still doesnt post, will rma with asus (that will take longer :[pouts:).
