ferdz_33
i have this PSU for about 3 months now, and i just noticed a clicking sound when the PSU is on or when the fan is spinning i removed it from the PC and tested it by itself using the paperclip technique to see if something is getting in the way of the fan but there was nothing. is this already for RMA? i need to have a decent PSU if incase it is coz my backup is just a generic one which wont power my new vidcard. i was hoping that i could get an immediate replacement from the store where i got it because it is just 3 months old and they do cover the warranty (i hope. hehe) thanks in advance
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 29, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 29, 2008 If you are sure the clicking is coming from the PSU, and it is loud enough to be bothersome, then lets get it replaced. Please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
ferdz_33
thanks RamGuy for this quick reply. if sending back the PSU for RMA do customers pay for the shipping to Corsair?? and do we need to send back the cables back??
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 30, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 30, 2008 You can hang on to the cables if you want. Normally you would pay the shipping to us, and we would pay the shipping back to you.
