DOOOMKULTUS
Are the motherboard Asus P5Q-Pro and Corsair TWIN 2X4096-6400C5DHX - 4GB Dual Kit compatible with each other? I am asking as the Asus P5Q-Pro's QVL doesn't list this ram, BUT the Corsair Memory configurator lists this as compatible. Infact Asus lists only 1 corsair module in their 800MHz list.Which is just weired. I checked on Asus forum first ,they recommended to ask corsair forums. So will this work? or will there be any problem or will i have to tweak it to work?

DOOOMKULTUS
OK replying to confirm that it works.I got the C4 instead of C5 Although CPU-Z is listing it as having Frequency of 400MHZ. Do i need to tweak it to get rated 800MHz?
DerekT
OK replying to confirm that it works.I got the C4 instead of C5 Although CPU-Z is listing it as having Frequency of 400MHZ. Do i need to tweak it to get rated 800MHz? CPU-z shows the real value of the DRAM which is 400Mhz. Double DATA Rate gives 400 X 2 = 800Mhz. Download Memtest86+ V2.01 from--->Hereand extract the ISO image. Burn the ISO image to an CD-ROM disk. Boot to the Memtest CD and look at the speed. You will see the 800Mhz bandwidth there. 1066Mhz DRAM http://img.tomshardware.com/us/2008/04/10/popular_speeds_and_timings_compared/cpuz-ddr2-1066-55515.png 800Mhz DRAM http://www.pcper.com/images/reviews/265/cpuz-mem.gif
