woppa
just upgraded from hx520 to hx1000 and my voltages are low ? with no power savings active in bios and windows pc probe 2 i get same readings v core ok at 1.30 3.3v low at 2.976v 5v low at 4.811v 12v low at 11.430 hx520 was bang on or slight above what it was supposed to be ? so is it faulty and should i rma or is it within spec Cheers WOPPA
Wired
3.3v line is too low, but it's best to test with a voltmeter, as software is often incorrect.
woppa
rma'd the psu as i wasn't happy with what i was seeing the +3.3 dropped to 2.8 at times and the vcore was dropping off too. switched back to hx 520 n dropped a gfx card for now and I'm showing in bios and pc probe voltages with proper readings as they should be ! well much better than hx1000 anyways as you can see. Vcore 1.3 = 1.30 +12v = 12.10 +5 = 4.92 +3.3 = 3.
