huberte
OK, sorry Ramguy but I'm here (again :[pouts: (previous message deleted))... Computer didn't boot 7 days ago after a sleep mode under vista. I did post here cause I though it was the PSU, then I decided to make further test and asked ramguy to delete the previous post. Because a known problem is happening with sleep mode and a vew gigabyte mobo. I specify that I pluged the PSU on an uninterruptible power supply (UPS and lightning proof) So I did : Tested the CPU and ram with an other mobo : fine. Tested the PSU with mobo, ram, graphic card at work : fine At home : 10 s booting then nothing. Today : booting and stop I'll ask my flat owner to call an electrician to check the ground plug in the house. Before asking a RMA, I would like to know how to make my measure with my Voltmeter. From now there is 0 V between the blue wire and all the others on the 24 pin power cable. So on the 4 and 8 between black and yellow wire. Question is : do the ventilator have to spin to measure something. Thanks PS : Sorry for my bad english by the way :sigh!:

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 29, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 29, 2008 Here is a good guide to help you measure the rails on your PSU: http://www.ochardware.com/articles/psuvolt/psuvolt.html However I wouldn't suspect the PSU if it was working fine in a different system. Have you tested the memory one at a time to see if you can isolate a failing memory module? If you are able to get the system to boot, I would suggest running http://www.memtest.org to make sure you do not have a memory related issue.
