hello all,

I have 2 x 1 gb of CM2X1024-8500C5D and an Abit IX38 Quad GT motherboard. Everything has been working fine for me until a few days ago. When i have both the RAMs in i get the error code "52" which is "test all memory (clear extended memory to 0) " and then stalls before i can access the bios. When i put in a single RAM everything was fine, but when i placed the second RAM in on its own i got the same error message as before. I have cleared the CMOS and everything, so its my RAM faulty or have i missed something ?

Make sure you have set the memory voltage manually to 2.1 volts and if a single module is still failing when tested individually then lets get the pair replaced. You can use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
