inzane
I have a 4gig GT that I absolutly love, so when I got around to upgrading, I went strait for the 16gig GT, but I think mine might have a problem. The write speeds to the 16GT are really slow. Before I notice on the Forum that you use HDbench, I used a program RDII. With RDII bench you can really see the difference, but not so much with HD Bench. here are some screen shots 4gig GT http://www.inzane-asylum.com/users/mr.inzane/myspace/4giggt.jpg http://www.inzane-asylum.com/users/mr.inzane/myspace/hdbench-4giggt.jpg 16gig GT http://www.inzane-asylum.com/users/mr.inzane/myspace/16giggt.jpg http://www.inzane-asylum.com/users/mr.inzane/myspace/ndbench-16giggt.jpg Is There something wrong with my 16gig GT? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 19, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 19, 2008 Please try to format the drive from a command prompt with this syntax: Format (X:) /FS:FAT32 /U (X=the drive letter assigned to the Flash Voyager) Then please try the HD-Bench software to test the performance. Read should be about 24-30 MBps and Write should be about 14-17 MBps.
