wikeke
so i'm thinking of getting a set of TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF only because of a $40 rebate. i have two stores to get them from, but the rebate company's are different... canadacomputers.com has it for $182.99 and has a rebate form for me to print out and mail in to CORSAIR MEMORY REBATES @ CANADA http://www.canadacomputers.com/rebates/Corsair/2008_September/MEMORY%20Rebate_Form_-_Promo__19118.pdf tigerdirect.ca has it for $174.99 and i have to make the claim online to "WorldwideRebates.com" http://static.tigerdirect.ca/rebates/COR-5303_CA.pdf now i've read many complaints about how people never get their rebates.... sooo... it would be nice if you could tell me what method (rebate company) definately sends out rebates :D: but if not, maybe advise which method has less problems/hassles delivering the rebate. obviously, i'd rather pay the cheaper price from tigerdirect.ca ($174.99) but for some reason their online method seems a little more problematic than the old snail mail method from canadacomputers.com is it possible to buy the memory at a cheaper price from tigerdirect.ca....but print out the rebate form from canadacomputers.com and mail it in to get the rebate? (there's no mention on the form, where i "have to" purchase from) the form only says "purchases made in Canada" so i'm guessing i could use this form for any retailer i buy from?... please advise. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 18, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 18, 2008 Did you read the sticky about rebates? They are all done third party and I have absolutely no idea which one is better, in fact I think they are the same company just setup for different ares of the country IE USA or Canada. But I would suggest asking them or the reseller.
