tim125
I have a similar scenario. I actually bought both TWIN2X4096-6400C5DHX and TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX by accident and have subsequently returned the C5 and got another C4 (I need 8gb). The C4 are revision 1.1 and the C5 are revision 4.1. I want to know if the revision is significant in that revision 4.1 are "better" than revision 1.1. It makes sense that they release C5 at higher prices and flush old stock of C4 by lowering the price before they release revision 4.1 of C4 (I'm hypothisizing here). Also C4 is 2.1 volt while C5 is 1.8volt. -Tim
Wired
Version has NOTHING to do with WHEN they were made. Version is linked to the IC used. Your hypothesis is incorrect.
