Buying Memory From The Same Batch

I have been putting together pieces week by week for a new system and wanted to get 8 gig of Dominator 1066. I have found corsair to work with the few asus boards I have had anything to do with so feel safe getting again for the M3A32-MVP Deluxe I purchased.

I won't be using the ram straight away. I spoke to the shop I will be getting it from and asked could they guarantee I can get the 2 x 4 gig packs from the same batch, they said if I buy them at the same time I could.

I didn't take much notice to the DDR Value ram I brought for my wifes computer to look for numberings to see if there was anything to give me a hint if they were from the same batch also I didn't have to worry to much about ram in hers as she has a gigabyte board and isn't perdantic.

I was wondering is there any markings on the Dominator 1066 DDR 2 packaging that I can look out for when I buy it that will let me know if they came from the same batch.

I am sorry but I do not understand your question, but if they are all in one package and sold as a set they will all have the same lot number.
I am going to be buying 8 gig of ram in total, by buying 2 4 gig packs. I am curious can 2 4 gig packs have the same lot number or the lot number is pack specific, meaning no 2 packs have the same lot number.

I would like to thank you for help on this. I purchased the ram today and got 2 x CM2X2048-8500C5D Ver 1.1 Lot Number 08330859 all ram has the exact same numbers ie verson and lot............once again thankyou for pointing out what to look for.

I am hoping by doing this there shouldn't be any isuues.
