Squidy
I bought this ram for my gf's new computer. She was previously running DDR1 ram so we got her a whole new system and got this ram. Now, it wont run with 2 sticks. Her mobo is Gigabyte EP35-DS3P with latest bios. I can run each stick by itself but no errors, but if I run both at once it gives over 2000 errors in the first 30 or so seconds. I've upped voltage to 2.1 like I've previously been told, and ram works fine with one stick, but not with both. Anyone have any ideas? It's driving me nuts Other numbers on the stick are 2821773 07490755 4-4-4-12 800mhz 1024mb XMS2-6400 Any help would be greatly appreciated
Wired
If both sticks tested fine when in the same slot, you can rule out that slot, and the memory. It's either the memory controller, or that other slot.
Squidy
That's the problem though, I've since tried OCZ and Kingston in the same computer and not a single error with them, Corsair is the only one with errors.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 15, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 15, 2008 If possible I would test them in a different system. If the problems follow the memory then lets get them replaced. You can use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.” I would agree with Wired in this case, but the only way to know for sure would be to test them in a different system.
