When installing, it take forever, and i frequently get blue screens.

Can someone tell me the setting i need to put into BIOS to get this thing to run right.

I installed windows once and was able to play UT3 but it crashed on me.

Also when i go into windows i get blue screens or it just restarts.

I really hope my ram is not bad.

I did mem test with them and it said it was fine. But im beginning to doubt it.

So i just want to know the settings for my mobo/ram/CPU combo

is it possible for me to pay to have it shipped for next week and when i get the new ram ill send the old ram back and then i can be refunded the amount i just paid.

The only reason i ask this is, i dont have extra DDR3 lying around and i dont want to have a downed computer for Warhammer.

I am sorry but no, we do not have any way to do that type of transaction from Tech support, but you are welcome to call our customer service at 888-222-4346 or 510-657-8747 Ext "0" and see if there is anything that can be done to speed things up.

so i got the ram to work but only on auto and the ram freq is not 1600 like stated.

The only way i can get it to run is if i do auto.

IF i use xmp it crashes and if i put the setting in manually it crashes to a blue screen.

So basically these sticks dont work at the advertised speeds that i paid the high price for.

what can i do?

Basically, i need the info of what needs to be changed from default

to get my ram to run at the stated speed with 1600 and not 1333

I can get it to run stable but the performance is poorer. I just want it to run at the speeds that are stated. Why did i pay $450 for ram that will not run at the stated speed?

So provide me with EVERYTHING i need to put in my Asus Rampage Extreme Bios to get these babies to run at 1600 7-7-7-20 while being stable.

Thank you in advance.

I don't think I have to tell you to run Memtest any time you make changes to your memory subsystem, but I will anyway.

Download Memtest86+ V2.01 from--->

Download CPU-z from
.

Enter your BIOS. Load setup defaults, save setup defaults and enter these values:

Insert a stick in slot 1 (Closest to the CPU) and a stick in slot 3. Run Memtest for two full passes, then (If Stable), enter Windows and post screenshots of CPU-z's CPU, Memory and SPD tabs.
