felipeBR Posted September 12, 2008 Share Posted September 12, 2008 hello ram guy...i'm from brazil and my english is not good...well...let's go i read the other post about the problem with this memory...CM2X1024-8500C5D 2 modules in 1,3 slots: i set values 5-5-5-15 , 2,1V and CR:2T...dont boot:sigh!: 2 modules in 1,3 slots: i set frequency 1066 to 800mhz and values 5-5-5-18, 1,8 or 2,1 v, cr:2T and dont boot...:sigh!: 1 module : but 1 stick the boot works fine, but the other module dont post..what happening? 1 modules : and the stick (with problem) in other motherboar (GA-945GCM)..the boot is ok, but the size = 512mb...e no 1024...:confused: the stick is new, i buy but can use......sugestions??? felipeBR Posted September 12, 2008 Author Share Posted September 12, 2008 the quad core work 9*266 ok?? 8500c5d ... d = DHX ok?? if i set the frequency memory to 800 i need set the 266*3 = 798mhz..ok?? or set 200*2: 400mhz (if is dhx 400x2 = 800mhz...is correct??) or set 200*4 = 800mhz ?? and the configuration 5-5-5-18, and command rate(cmd) = 2t? in the bios the options are (1,2,3) voltage is 1,8 or 2,1 v?? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 12, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 12, 2008 Thwin2x2048-8500C5XX modules should be run at 2.1 Volts, the tested settings can be found from the link in my signature and you should set them manually and test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org to be sure one is not failing.
