tryagain
Hi, Just got hold of a Rampage Extreme MB to host an E8600 (water cooled) and hopefully 8GB RAM. Its going to be used for batch processing 1GB files in Photoshop and so needs to be able to run 24/7 (so probably under stress). I've only little knowledge about how Pshop is using the memory based on bench tests using my current DDR2 computer; I've noticed that it is more the amount of memory I used and its frequency speed rather than its latency that has the most effect on faster turnaround. What DDR3 sticks do you recommend to run for this set up and usage? Thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 11, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 11, 2008 Please look up your system on our memory configurator. And any set of modules listed should run great but please noe with 4 modules you may have to slow the memory down to the next lower speed grade IE if you get DDR1333 memory DDR1066 would be suggested with 4 modules.
