benj114
Hello who ever it may concern. Long time fan of your products, but do have a concern when it comes to going about the RMA from Canada. It would be greatly appreciated if you guys would come up with a How To on filling out these custom form application's and what code's to use for product description, type of deport / import. I have not got the greatest clue on how to fill out papers with FedEx or UPS for this to avoid added delay / unwanted fees. Here is the Canada Border Services Agency form from UPS. http://www.ups.com/media/en/ca/export_declaration.pdf Thank you! Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 10, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 10, 2008 I am sorry but I would not know this and I would suggest asking the Agent for UPS in your country. Or you can call our customer service and see if they can help you 888-222-4346 Ext "0".
benj114
I got most of the Canada Border Services Agency - Export form figured out, the ones that I have question's on I'll just get FedEx to help with when I drop the package off at the Calgary Depot. What a pain in the rear end, to bad you guy's didn't have a Canadian facility to accept RMA's. Next question now is, since you ship back using UPS, will I receive a bill from UPS for any duties on importing the replacement product?
Wired
I think that as long as it's clearly marked on the package that it's a warranty replacement that there's no duty charges. I'd get a confirmation on that to be safe though.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 11, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 11, 2008 There should not be any Duties or fee's but there may be something in your country I am not aware of so I would suggest calling our customer service to be sure.
