750TX - GTX260 issue

I am not sure if there is a problem with the power supply but I thought I ask you guys

I put together this system about 2 months ago

The problem that started about a week ago is I would start to bluescreen on nvldmm.sys anytime I would play a game, sometimes it would take 2 minutes other times it would take 15 minutes, i narrowed the problem down anytime the card would get above 73 degrees it would blue screen. i don't know why 73 degrees, but that number it would cuase it to blue screen and cause my computer to reboot.

If i run the furmark utility, in a window instead of rebooting, it would just start to artificat and then the furmark app would just crash but i would not blue screen

i tested every every piece of hardware i can think of running prime95, and memtest, only think it comes down to is maybe the PSU is faulty and not supplying enough power to the 12v rail? by being defective?

what do you think is that possible?

or do you think the card needs to be RMA'ed?

Thanks

It honestly sounds like an issue with the card itself. You may want to test the card in a different system to see if you have similar results, or if possible, test a different video card in your system.

That is what I think but I wanted to see your expertise before I send off the card

I wish I had another system to test, but my old system is way too old to test with and has AGP slot

Thanks

Let us know if you have any problems once you get the replacement! Its hard to say for sure if the video card is faulty without testing it in a different system, but I would say that a failing video card is probably the most likely cause for the issues you are having.
