Replacement of the PCI-E cable?

Hello,

Recently (August 2008) I bought your power suply CMPSU-520HXEU in my country (Lithuania). Also a few days ago I finished assemble of my new computer I am very happy with this purchase, except one matter:

- according to user manual and information in your webpage, in my package had to be included 2 pcs. of 550 mm PCI Express connector cables (6 pin connectors for video cards).

On one of the above described and provided cables, connector's clip is not in the middle/center (male). On power supply connectors with entrance for the clip are in the middle/center (female). For me it seems like manufacturing defect. Due to this, I can not connect this cable to power supply and provide power supply to video card.

I would like to use both 550 mm PCI Express cables, due to my video card is ATI Radeon HD4870, which requires two connected cables of above mentioned type.

Can I receive a correct cable? If yes, do I have to send defective PCI-E cable back to Corsair?

The PSU should have come with 2x PCIE cables which each have a 6+2-pin PCIE connector, which can be used as either a 6 or 8-pin PCIE connector. If you did not receive these cables, please send an email to jackflash@corsairmemory.com with your name, address and phone number along with your request. Please include a description of the cables and how many you need.
