Icetom
Hello, Recently (August 2008) I bought your power suply CMPSU-520HXEU in my country (Lithuania). Also a few days ago I finished assemble of my new computer I am very happy with this purchase, except one matter: - according to user manual and information in your webpage, in my package had to be included 2 pcs. of 550 mm PCI Express connector cables (6 pin connectors for video cards). On one of the above described and provided cables, connector's clip is not in the middle/center (male). On power supply connectors with entrance for the clip are in the middle/center (female). For me it seems like manufacturing defect. Due to this, I can not connect this cable to power supply and provide power supply to video card. I would like to use both 550 mm PCI Express cables, due to my video card is ATI Radeon HD4870, which requires two connected cables of above mentioned type. Can I receive a correct cable? If yes, do I have to send defective PCI-E cable back to Corsair?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 8, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 8, 2008 The PSU should have come with 2x PCIE cables which each have a 6+2-pin PCIE connector, which can be used as either a 6 or 8-pin PCIE connector. If you did not receive these cables, please send an email to jackflash@corsairmemory.com with your name, address and phone number along with your request. Please include a description of the cables and how many you need.
