Gylgamesh
I looked through the RMA page and didn't see anything on this, maybe I missed it. I recently bought some Corsair RAM (2 x 2048MB) and one of the sticks is dead. The question I have is this: Do I need to send both sticks back together (even the good one) for the RMA, or can I only send the dead stick back and get that one replaced? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 4, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 4, 2008 We would need to get the pair replaced. Can you tell me the part number of the memory you have, as well as the motherbaord/system? Part number will be listed on the memory label and will start with either VS or CM. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 5, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 5, 2008 Make sure you have the memory voltage set manually to 2.1 volts and if you have the same problems then let's get them replaced. Please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
