Stephen Zwaagma
Hello, I'm having problems with my Corsair Domonator Memory 10000 C5D. The motherboard I am using is a ASUS Striker. Whith basic configs, running on 800 Mhz, the sticks are running fine. When they are SLi configured, 1250Mhz, then the fun really starts, critical stops, blue screens, sometimes doesn't even boot up the bios etc. I have run memtest86 v2.01 and on the 800Mhz set-up, no problems, but on the 1250Mhz set-up,....faulty redlines all over. Has anyone ideas what i am overlooking? Hope to hear a replay, Stephen.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 29, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 29, 2008 More than likely that MB and CPU Combination will not run these modules at the tested settings when using SLI ready memory, you might try and manually configure the settings and work you way up a little at a time and remember to lower the CPU Multiplier as you raise the CPU FSB. Stephen Zwaagma
Hello RamGuy, Thanks for your quick replay. I always thought, when you enable the SLi memory, it would optimize itself with the system. I will experiment with the MB and CPU settings, to see how far it will take me. Can you reconmend me, how to start with? Regards, Stephen.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 29, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 29, 2008 That is true but you would have to have a configuration that will support the Over clock that will be applied and with the CPU and MB you have I doubt that it will run at that speed.
