Sneakers_Matri
You are supposed to be able to use the 6+2 pin connecter as both an 8 pin and a 6 pin by removing / etaching the 2 pin side mounted connector. I use it on my GTXs.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 29, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 29, 2008 You will find a list of all the connectors available on the HX1000 HERE. You should have the following connectors: 2x 8-pin PCIE 2x 6-pin PCIE 2x 6+2-pin PCIE (can be used as either a 6-pin or an 8-pin) If you are missing, or need any additional cables then please send an email to jackflash@corsairmemory.com with your name, address and phone number along with your request. Please include a description of the cables, how many you need and which PSU you have.
