JackieChan
Hello out there, I think I need the help of you (or the so-called ram guy :): ), because a lot of trial and error, searching google and reading this forum did not get me any step closer to a stable config. In the course of rearrange my systems configurations, I wanted to upgrade my old MSI K8T Neo2-FIR with two Corsair RAMs - Following the help of the great Corsair Memory Compability Tool I was convinced that two VS1GB400C3 would do the job fine. But with either both in dual channel mode, non-dual channel mode, or only one of them sticked into the board I get a lot of errors with memtest (right from the start of test 1) and it is safe to say that windows will turn into a deadly blue within 10 minutes. I tried a lot of BIOS Setting tests and even updated my bios to a daring version 9.20 (quite a gap from 3.30) - no improvement. Yes I can stay at my current configuration, 2x 512MB MCI + 2x 512MB Samsung (yes, this does give me a stable system), but I would like to run at a memory clock of 200mhz - what, for me, is only possible with my two Corsair RAMs... there must be a reason they are listed as compatible for my board  Thanks in advance for any comment, suggestion or solution (or in reverse order)! I could cut down the problem to a single module, re-checked it in two other system configurations. Bought 4 VS1GB400C3 and 1 is defect... :sigh!: This is going to be a expensive shipping, hopefully the returning module will do the job :):
