Clarko Darko
Hello everyone. I need some help with my settings. Ram has been running stable but not at the marketed timings. I need some help to identify what changes must be made on mother board. I bought the Corsair TWINX2048-3200C2PT for my computer. My mobo is a ASrock 939Dual-SATA2/AMD 64 X2 4200+. The mobos website states it does support up to DDR 400. Even Corsairs memory compatibility page showed a test done with both components on 1/23/2003. When using CPU-Z and Everest the default timings with auto set on bios was at 2.5 3 3 7. So I went in and change it in bios to 2 3 3 6 as advertised. Memory runs stable. The issue I am having is the DRAM Frequency is at 129.4 MHz on both CPU-Z and Everest. I have tried changing the setting from auto to DDR 400(200MHz) and the one below it(i don't remember at the moment) and I get the same results. I haven't tried playing any games yet because I want to get the RAM to run the way it is suppose to be. Please provide some feed back ASAP. I really looked forward to finally buying some Corsair XMS ram for my first time. I don't want to return it and not come back to Corsair as a customer. Thanks.
