Wierd Conflict between xms dual channel kit and any other memory...

Ok I have had a DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard - and In that board I have CORSAIR XMS 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 438 (PC 3500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWINX2048-3500LLPRO

Basically my issue is no matter what RAM I add, even another corsair kit, the machine will not boot when I mix the RAM. I have tried every combination and I know all the ram is good because it all works... Just not when I have any number of sticks of the XMStwin RAM installed. I just recently purchased another 2GB corsair kit like I had stated above, which works fine on its own... but does not boot with both kits installed. I have reset my bios and everything is very generic default settings no overclocking, 200mhz FSB... Only thing I can think of is a firmware issue? can anyone confirm???

For performance enhancing, default memory timing has been fixed at 1T (Command Per Clock: Enabled) on LP NF4 series boards. Usually memory timing is set at 2T in regular situation. If use four single side memories, the loading has reached to the limit (DDR 400) at this movement. Please refer to the solution below to solve the problem.

1. Adjust VDIMM at 2.8V.

2. Set memory timing as 2T.

Genie BIOS Setting -->DRAM Configuration -->Command Per Clock: Disabled

This is the DFI's solution... Have not tried it yet... will post more when I get off work.

With 4 modules you will need to set the memory frequency at DDR333 and set the Command Rate to 2T and disable all performance settings and set the timings to Cas 2.5-3-3-7 at 2.8 Volts. In addition, it would never be suggested mixing memory especially with this platform as it may not post if the modules are not all matched.
