Spetter Posted August 27, 2008 Share Posted August 27, 2008 I just wonder how must watt must a power supply have to support this: Alternative 1: GPU: Ati Radeon HD 4870X2 CPU: Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 / 3.2 GHz 1600 FSB prosessor Socket 775 RAM: : TWIN3X4096-1600C7DHXIN 2x2GB, 1600 FSB XMP (intrel Extreme) Alternative 2: GPU: 2 x Ati Radeon HD 4870X2 CPU: Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 / 3.2 GHz 1600 FSB prosessor Socket 775 RAM: : TWIN3X4096-1600C7DHXIN 2x2GB, 1600 FSB XMP (intrel Extreme) Alternative 3: GPU: Ati Radeon HD 4870X2 CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 / 3.33 GHz 1333 FSB prosessor RAM: : TWIN3X4096-1600C7DHXIN 2x2GB, 1600 FSB XMP (intrel Extreme) Alternative 4: GPU: 2 x Ati Radeon HD 4870X2 CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 / 3.33 GHz 1333 FSB prosessor RAM: : TWIN3X4096-1600C7DHXIN 2x2GB, 1600 FSB XMP (intrel Extreme) AND of course Two GPU needs more cabling from Power supply.
