Given wrong ram

I bought corsair TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX in feb this year. 2 weeks ago, one of the ram did not work. So i sent it for claim. They sent a new set.

When i start my pc, it shows 1 module as cm2x2048-8500c5d and the other as cm2x2048-6400c4dhx. The sticker on both shows TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX

I would like to find out whether are these 2 modules compatible to be run as dual channel? And do i need to send back the rams again?

If the memory came in the same package, then they should have been tested together at the same settings. The part number may have been programmed incorrectly, and if you like we can replace the set for you, however there should be no difference in performance or compatibility. I would manually set the memory voltage to 2.1 volts and then set the timings to 4-4-4-12, and then test with http://www.memtest.org to make sure you do not have any problems. If you have any problems then let us know, and we would be happy to replace them for you.
