Eka
Hi chaps, there seems to be a problem with my graphics card/psu setup. The graphics card works for 20 or so seconds before the monitor gives up with the "no input signal" error. I'm guessing either the card is faulty or the PSU 6+2 pin cables arn't working. Any suggestions?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 21, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 21, 2008 Have you tried a different set of PCIE cables? Are you able to test the video card in a different system?
Muckish
Hi I have the same problem, my computer have been working fine for the last 1,5 years until a couple of weeks ago when it started random crashing. Then it wouldent start up and it said "no input signal" as the GPU-fan went up to 100% until i manually shut down the computer. So i thought maybe the pci-e power cables are broken, so i switched them to the add-on cables and it worked for a while, then same thing again. So i switched around trying different sets of cables until finally nothing worked. I tried another graphic card, older with just one pci-e cable and it worked, though it did go black screen and "no input signal" once. Also upgraded BIOS and flashed. Nothing works. So please help me :[pouts:
Muckish
Well seems the PSU was not the problem. I flashed the BIOS and now it works. Also tried the test with the gem on the PSU and no problems detected. Now i guess i just have to wait and see if it keeps working. or else im positiv that its the motherboard struggling. EDIT: Well guess ill have to change motherboard. At least we know its neither the PSU nor the graphic card.
