euand
Hi, I built my PC in May last year and put in Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB) and manually configured them to be 4-4-4-12. My computer froze in Windows and I had to do a hard reset, after that it would not post boot, I had to take out one stick of RAM for the computer to boot. I've rechecked the BIOS settings and they have not changed. I ran memtest on the stick that worked and there were no errors, I couldn't boot the computer with other stick by its self to do a memtest or boot it with both sticks. With just one stick it boots into windows and then freezes after about 5-10 minutes and I have to do a hard reset. Any ideas if this is just memory or a variety of things? Thanks.
