Chronic
Just built this setup and already having problems. :( Was playing a game last night and suddenly the machine just rebooted. When I got back into Windows, the error report suggested RAM issues so I ran MemTest over night and indeed, failures galore. This RAM is supposed to run at 4-4-4-12 but when set to SPD in BIOS, it's something else completely so I set it manually. The problem is there are a BOATLOAD of other numbers/settings as well which I do not know what to set, so they're at auto. I'm really hoping it's one of those settings that's borking things up, would hate to have to RMA something I've just bought and be without a usable computer for however long it would take to get the new sticks... :(

Chronic
You will need to set the memory Voltage to 2.1 Volts with those modules Upped the voltage and ran MemTest all night again and it seems to be rock solid now, woohoo! Thanks! By the way, any particular reason why this information isn't available on the packaging? :)
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 21, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 21, 2008 The Voltage is printed on the modules them selves and on the Data Sheet as well as XMS Qualification and Testing!.
