CompuHandy
Greetings, I have a CMX1024-3200C2PT that has failed. It was one member of a matched pair. The system began randomly crashing to bsod and applications would randomly crash. I did some cleanup and even tried system restore, but with no success. Then I used an Ubuntu install CD to run Memtest86 and it immediately showed memory errors. Then I removed both modules, blew the dust out of the slots (it was already pretty clean, but I did it anyway to make sure) and reseated one module. Upon running Memtest86 again, it completed with no errors. So i installed the other module, thinking it may have been just a dust problem. This time the errors showed up right away again. After removing the first module and inserting the second module in the first slot, Memtest86 showed lots and lots of errors. This tells me the second module is toast. What is the next thing I need to do to get a replacement? Thank you, CompuHandy
