OldBloke
Hi, I have a new Corsair TX-650 PSU. Where I live the nominal mains voltage is 230v. My APC ES 700va 405 watt UPS has a setting for the max and min voltage on the mains input which will switch it to using battery backup. When I first installed the UPS, it was set to max 266 and min 180. That seems like quite a wide range. It means if the mains voltage drops to 181 it will continue to use mains instead of battery. What would you recommend for the max and min voltages to input to the Corsair TX-650 PSU, before the UPS should switch to battery?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 18, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 18, 2008 Our PSUs are rated to work with 90-264v input voltage, I would suspect the default settings would be fine.
