cozumel
Hi, Considering upgrading from 4x1GB ******** to the 2x2GB Dominator kit in the thread title. I definitely intend to overclock and wanted to know how well this kit will run with my Gigabyte P35-DS4 v2.0. Anyone know? Thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 12, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 12, 2008 Please see the Performance Reports on these modules and other like modules to get an idea of the MB's and what we did to run them at the tested settings. cozumel
Thanks dude :): I'd already looked at that and only two similar 2x2GB kits with Gigabyte P35 boards but no overclock testing displayed. I was hoping to get between 1100-1150MHz overclocked from the sticks and wanted to see how the board (or similar GA-P35) and Corsair sticks play together. :):
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 12, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 12, 2008 I am sorry but if you want to over clock them I would suggest getting Twin2x4096-9136 for that high of an over clock.
cozumel
That's why you're the Corsair Tech and I'm the consumer lol. I'll go post the same question on Driverheaven, Anandtech & Hardforum to see what other consumers have got in this combination. Thanks for your time though. :sunglasse Edit: Sorry to have made you edit my o/p and specs. I didn't think and should have realised!
cozumel
Hey, Thought I'd let you know they overclock real good btw :sunglasse I'm back with Corsair after a 2-3 year gap and I re-edited my system spec on this forum. They're great modules. I trust they will be as reliable as my last Corsair sticks (Value Select PC3200) which I've actually still got somewhere in my closet lol Thank you Corsair :):
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 27, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 27, 2008 NP and yes our modules usually do more than we say but I can only promise the tested settings. Thanks for the comments.
