oldmanjk
I ordered Corsair 2GB PC8500 1066MHz 240-Pin DDR2 RAM (Twin2X2048-8500C5D) on June 15, 2008. One stick was DOA. I RMAd it: TSX Case #621434 RMA Number 1065412 Defective Parts Received on: 8/5/2008 I have received no further communication. On July 18, 2008, I ordered Corsair XMS2 2X1GB Kit PC2-6400 800MHz DDR2 (TWIN2X2048-6400) from a different seller so I could use my computer while I wait for the RMA turn-around. One of the modules is detected by SIW as being actually VS1GB800D2 part. The heat spreaders are OK and they show the proper CM2X1024-6400 designation. What is going on? I have an EVGA board 132-CK-NF78 (Version 2). Please help!!!!
