godmodder Posted August 10, 2008 Share Posted August 10, 2008 Hello, I've recently purchased a Corsair 650W TX power supply and it was running nice and quiet until a few days ago. Suddenly, the fan always seems to spin at maximum speed, even though the ambient temperature is the same and the system is sitting idle. What could the problem be? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 11, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 11, 2008 You may want to try it in a different system just to see if you have the same problems, but if the fan is spinning at full blast, even at an idle load, then something is not right, and we can try replacing the unit for you. Please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it.
