FreeJet
Given my computer specs, I tried to add another 8800GTS 320MB video card in SLI-mode but the 550W psu apparently could not handle it because my system became unstable and shutdown. I used the PSU Finder on this site and it recommended the 750W. But I have a few more features than the PSU Finder offers (media card reader, 2 optical drives and an internal tv card). What would you folks recommend? Maybe something even bigger than your 750W but less than your 1000W models?
GeForce6200
The TX650 should power that setup, but if you want the Tx750 will easily power that, and is also inexpensive on newegg right now.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 8, 2008 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 8, 2008 TX750 would have plenty of power for this system, the only reason to go to the HX1000 would be if you wanted the modular cables.
