Hey Ram Guy: I'm a first time builder and I've completed the build but when I turn on my machine I get a Memory Test failure. Here's what I got: NFOrce2 A7N8X-E Deluxe MotherBoard, AMD 3200/400 Athlon XP Barton CPU, DDRAM 1 Gb Twinx1024RE-3200LL RT I have a feeling that the RAM and the MotherBoard are not compatible. Is this the case? What do you recommend? Thank you. BobbyBurbank --See we had this assignment, to make this ceramic elephant, and um...and we had eight weeks to do it and we're s'posed ta, and it was like a lamp, and when you pull the trunk the light was s'posed to go on..my light didn't go on...

The RAM you have listed is Registered and ECC, corresponded by the letters R and E in the RAM id you posted. TwinX1024RE-3200LL. The motherboard you have also listed does not support Registered, or ECC RAM technologies. That is why the RAM does not work. What you want is RAM without either Registered, or ECC technology. Such as the TwinX1024-3200LL. J1NG
