Alesque
Part Number : CMX512RE-3200LLPT (512MByte ECC Registered Memory Platinium) I have a Abit IC7-G (with updated bios), Pentium 4 2,8C and I wonder if the above RAM works in my machine (I get a memory error beep and my machine won't start up) ? [/QUOTE] This RAM will also work with the E7505 Intel chipsets, basically all the chipsets designed for Server/High End Workstation series. However, although listed as a workstation chipset, the 875 chipset does not support Registered RAM. Which is why it does not work with your system. Tecknowolf
So does that mean it wont work for my Abit KD7-G as well? I also got the TwinX Corsair memory. The CMX512RE-3200llpt, though since I got it from Atacom whom I have written numerous nasty reports on, I am unsure of thier advice. Thanks
J1NG
Yes, according to the specs, the KD7-G should work with this RAM. J1NG
