Hi Ramguy, You had helped me out with a problem I was having. It turned out that there was no problem with my RAM but the retailer had misrepresented your product. I got in contact with them and they said because I made the purchase 40 days ago instead of 30 days I couldn't do a return unless I got a "case number" from Corsair stating that the web site information was incorrect. I'm sorry to ask for this (I'm not really sure what it is). Could you direct me to the proper channels to obtain a "case number"? Actually I brought to their attention that they have other RAM that has incorrect information as well! :roll: (when looking to replace my current RAM I investigated their specs listed against the manufacturer part number listed - not taking anything for granted this time) The service rep didn't seem very interested - probably minimum wage so why should he? One of these is a Corsair product that I will likely take as a replacement. Now I'm not really interested if I get a platinum heat spreader or not but SOMEONE will be. What will that SOMEONE get? Personally I think if a retailer misrepresents a product they should grovel at my feet for making me go through a month of searching to determine what the problem was. I went to MSI and other sites trying to figureout the problem before getting the answer here. Thanks, JayDee
