My new Dual Opteron Workstation will not boot. Spec: Tyan tiger k8w s2875 2 x Opteron 244 (both part numbers end AL)rev C0 DDR 400 support 2 x Corsair TWINX1024R-3200C2PT (4 x512) 2 x Maxtor 80gb sata 150 8mb raid 0 1x Western digital 120gb 8mb Windows XP Professional 5.1.2600 incl SP1 I have been told of a known issue with node interleave. So with bank interleave enabled and node interleave disabled, It will not boot. These interleave settings have no effect when i am trying to boot, But if I disable DRAM ECC (Option appears when ECC is enabled) It will boot with Dram ECC enabled it will not boot. I have performed a benchmark in SiSoft Sandra 2004 without DRAM ECC enabled. and i get Ram bandwidth int unbuffered isse2 3962 mb/s Ram bandwidth float unbuffered isse2 3962 mb/s. It also says that Logical/chipset 2 memory banks 0 512 ddr-sdram registered 3.0-3-3-3cl 2cmd 1 512 ddr-sdram registered 3.0-3-3-3cl 2cmd 2 512 ddr-sdram registered 3.0-3-3-3cl 2cmd 3 512 ddr-sdram registered 3.0-3-3-3cl 2cmd This is not right for the memory I'm using (Corsair TWINX1024R-3200C2PT) I have also done some checks in Cpu Z this is what I got Size 2048 Channels Single (does this mean its not running as Dual DDR?) Modules info DDR sdram Frequency 99.6 mhz FSB 2:1 Cas# latency 3.0 Ras to cas# latency 3 ras# precharge 3 cycle time tras 0 bank cycle time 7 dram idler time 0 I have also generated this report in AIDA32 and I'm even more confused about what the problem is. Please check the lable on the modules, and we do not have a module part# like; "Module Name Corsair CMX512R-3200CB", so please check what it states in AIDA32 and make sure that's correct! In addition, please tell me the revision of your modules, should be printed on the lable under the part#!
