Recommended Posts

HI!!!I try to find a solution for my memory 2x Corsair TWIN2X 6400 DDR2, 2048MB CL5 Kit w/two matched CM2X1024A-6400 Dimm's inserted into my MB (4GB total). I cannot make it working with all 4 slots occupied even at the frequency of 667. I have the latest BIOS update 0901 but stil doesn`t work with all 4 memories.

Is anyone somwhere ther who knows a slotion for this MB?

Please any help?

Than kyou!!

I have windows Vista 64 bit and I don`t think is any problem if will see it but I cannot access even the BIOS because I have BIP code errors on POST.

The settings did not work at all, even the POST did not passed.Something is wrong and my timings for my memories are 5-5-5-12.

If I do all the setting from above and afterwards install the all 4 modules the computer doesn`t show the POST and I have to turn off the comp from the switch. Even with 3 modules still doesn`t pass the POST and I have to take off the cable from PSU and to remove the CMOS battery to reset the BIOS.

Do you know any better configuration?

Thank you!!!

But you stated they all passed one up before is that correct?

All passed the test. What is wrong?

If that is yes there is likely some other issue, but I would try with just two modules installed in Dual channel and set the memory frequency at DDR667 and set the settings listed previously except the memory frequency at DDR667 and then turn it off and install all four modules and see if it will post with all four installed..

I done the test first time with 2 modules with the above settings and was not any error but after i put the other 2 modules I had o lot of errors. I tried each separate to see what happen but all the time I have errors now, doesn`t matter which slot or module is I have errors.
