Non-ECC Unbuffered DDR SDRAM

Recommended Posts

I would like to upgrade my eMachines (feel free to laugh) T6000 to 2GB RAM. This is an Athlon64 based machine using a MS-6741 motherboard (I assume its proprietary to e-machines, you've probably already figured out I am a hardware noob). Anyway, from the motherboard manual: Two 184-pin 2.5 V DIMM sockets • Each slot supports up to 1 GB memory of 266/333/400 MHz Non-ECC Unbuffered DDR Synchronous DRAM (DDR SDRAM) Can you pros help me translate this into some part numbers? I am looking at Corsair because I am under the impression that their memory is highest performance for gaming. Any insight appreciated. Dave
