I bought my new computer for christmas, but I only built it this week: when I tryed to turn it on I received an error from the mobo panel in detecting ram. I opened the case and tryed changing position to the two sticks, but nothing changed. I then used only one stick at a time, and discovered that there was a problem with one. I tryed the two in the same slot and in others, but i always had the same result.

I have an old pc in which I will try to see what happens, but I dunno if it will work, because it supports max 330MHz ram.

Can somebody help me?

P.s.: I don't have installed any OS on the pc yet

My configuration:

Corsair HX520W

Asus Striker Extreme

Intel Core2 E6750

Nvidia EN8500Gt

If one module will POST the system and the other will not, when testing them individually in the same memory slot then lets get the set replaced for you. please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
