Flash Voyagor Intermittent problem

Hi,

I have a 4gb Voyager that's less than 5 months old and it has already developed an intermittent fault. Whenever I plug it into any machine I get different results:

1) it's fine

2) 'USB Device not recognised'

3) 'USB Device malfunctioning

4) 'This device will operate better if you plug it into a USB 2 port' even though it is.

5) Absolutely nothing, no drive, no blue light.

 

Can I get this replaced? I'm in the UK so does the RMA process still apply?

Hi,

I submitted the RMA request as directed and have not received a reply other than the standard "we are dealing with your request".

 

I checked my case# on the corsair site this morning I found out that an RMA number had been issued the day after my email.

 

I have not had any emails to confirm this or to provide further instructions and, in fact, I even had to click the 'forgot password' link to be given my password as that had not been emailed to me either.

 

I am assuming that all I need to do is return the part with the RMA number somewhere on the packaging but is there anything else I need to do?

 

All in all a pretty unhelpful experience so far!
